A super shiny mug featuring my design of a female Stonechat which repeats round the mug, with Fairy Flint's signature and motto, 'Art Enchanted by Nature'.
I got so very excited the first time I spotted a female Stonechat, it seemed much more shy than its male would be partner, with his striking orange breast and dark cap. The female skitted about here and there and then bobbed her head down and spread her wings out behind her. The sun shone through her delicate feathers and I fell totally in love! Do look out for my picture which captures that moment.
I think my motto perfectly sums up the way I work. I spend a lot of time in my studio, and much of the rest out walking where I observe nature, birds, insects, flora and fauna. I find nature so good for the soul and so helpful to keep mental health.
